How to Remove Interpol Virus Scam On iPhone/iPad In Safari

Hi, I was completely freaking out! Earlier today I was web searching on my iPhone 6 and suddenly a porn site popped up itself. After that I got a pop up message accusing me of watching child pornography and it said it could lead to 5-8 years and also a £100 fine? The pop up crashed my Safari so I can’t use Internet on my phone now. It says this message is sent by Interpol and Department of Cybercrime, and it asks me to pay a fine using one of payment systems like Ukash, Paysafecard or Paypal. Is it real? Or is it a scam from hackers? How do I get rid of the Interpol warning without paying £100?

Interpol Virus Scam Description:

These days, many popups are suddenly showing up on iPhone/iPad Safari which block user’s Internet access and even crash their web web browsers. Interpol Virus (aka. Interpol Department of Cybercrime virus) is one of the fake warning popups designed to trick innocent users located in European and North American countries. This virus is categorized as Ransomware that spreads through Spam emails filled with infected attachments, corrupted website and malicious pop-up ads. Once it is installed, it uses malicious JavaScript to ‘lock up’ Internet browsers like Safari and Chrome and then it uses the name of Interpol Department of Cybercrime or other similar authorities to falsely tell the user that the web browser is blocked as a penalty for online crimes like downloading copyright-protected music, watching pornographic videos or distributing illegal contents. After that, it demands a fee of £100 to be paid through either Ukash or Paysafecard in 24 or 48 hours, although paying this fee will not help to get the Internet access back and make your device safe. Be aware that this alert, which typically reports that if you don’t pay a fine your Apple ID will be blocked and your data will be erased, is completely fake and you must NOT pay the fine but remove Interpol virus from your iPhone or iPad.

Searchnewtab.com Hijacker Removal

Does anyone know how to remove Searchnewtab.com hijacker from the computer? I probably got this unwanted search engine when downloading other things and now it hijacks my default homepage. I read that it must be removed manually because antivirus programs will not be able to remove the virus. I have tried everything to remove it, I have uninstalled programs, removed it from extensions and removed everything i can think of and still no luck. Any suggestions?

Searchnewtab.com Description:

Searchnewtab.com is one of the spam search engines that can hijack Internet web browsers like Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and even Safari browser. It belongs to annoying browser hijacker which is often deceptively installed with other freeware from the Internet. Popular free programs are often bundled with adware and hijackers like this. Although browser redirect viruses are not something new since malware developers have been using this technique for years to generate traffic to their sites, it still poses a huge risk for computer users because it has the ability to modify browser settings, gather search terms and redirect users to other websites they don’t want. The hijacker also can install malicious web browser extensions, add-ons, and BHO (browser helper objects) to the infected system without asking for any permission. It results in many serious computer problems so computer users should get rid of it immediately.

Remove Mandiant USA Cyber Security Virus on iPhone/iPad

I recently got the Mandiant USA Cyber Security pop up on my iPhone 6 when I opened a bad email attachment. It locked me out of Safari and blamed me for basically viewing illegal or illicit material. It is saying I have to pay 500$ through Paypal that can be purchased at a store, or my phone data and Apple ID will be deleted. I can’t even use my safari. It seems like a scam but I have no idea how to fix it. Do you know how to take off that fake police warning on the iphone?

Is Mandiant USA Cyber Security Virus on My iPhone/iPad Real or Fake?

If you have ever been infected with Mandiant USA Cyber Security virus, you will definitely know how serious this malware is. The virus was released in 2013 and it locked down one’s computer until they paid a ransom. Millions of computer users were fallen into this scam and lost their money but those greedy cyber criminals didn’t stop their illegal activities. Instead they still keep updating the virus and seeking as many ways as possible to trick unwary people into paying the ransom and stealing their money. Now Mandiant USA Cyber Security malware can be installed on Apple devices (iPad, iPhone& iPod) too, that is to say, the malware has the ability to attack all iOS, not just Windows operating system or Android. Generally speaking, this malware can get into Apple devices by clicking malicious pop-up ads or visiting high-risk websites, even by opening attachments from spam emails. Once installed, it displays a full page that illegitimately disguises as the Mandiant USA Cyber Security to block user’s Internet access. The blocked page alleges that your phone or ipad has been blocked due to the reason that you have been violating Copyright and related laws, viewing or distributing prohibited pornography and others similar crimes. And then you will be informed that the only way to unblock your browser and avoid the jail is to pay the fine of $500 dollars via Paypal or Moneypak. The fake message also says if a fine is not paid within 24 hours, your Apple ID and all the stuffs on the phone will be erased, and criminal case will be opened against you. When the message comes up, you will not be able to get online because it locks your Safari browser and will not allow you to exit out the page by clicking on X or Cancel. Even you restart iphone/ipad, it pops up right away when it is back on.

FBI Header Virus With $500 Paypal Fine? Unlock Guide

Hi. I was surfing the net and then all of a sudden my Windows 10 computer was blocked by an FBI Header virus warning. It popped up immediately when I was on Microsoft Edge browser and wont let me exit it out of it. Everytime I tried to do it, it popped back up again. The pop up said that the FBI has noticed me looking at illegal things and I need to pay $500 via Paypal to get it to go away. I have never broken a law in MY LIFE! So I got super scared when this FBI Paypal virus warning popped up accusing me of child pornography and pirating! I thought i was going to have to pay 500 dollars and end up having a police record or something all for something I didn’t do! But after I googled this FBI Header* thing on my cell phone to find out more and I found out this was a SCAM! So this isn’t a real warning from the FBI right? Now I can’t use my Internet at all. How do I get rid of the message and remove the virus completely?

Browser Has Been Blocked By FBI Header Virus? – An Overall Description

FBI Header Virus is a malicious ransomware that is designed to fool the computer user into thinking that they are in serious trouble and need to quickly pay a fine of $500 in order to avoid further fines as well as pending legal action. Actually this type of malware has been released for a long time since 2012, but recently it updated with a more-dangerous package – FBI Header Virus. With a big title “Header*” on the top of its page, the malware locks down a user’s computer in the name of the FBI. It appears like a message coming directly from the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) and tries to steal money from unsuspecting Internet users. When it is installed and launches it takes over users’ web browsers including Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome or even Microsoft Edge on Windows 10 operating system and then blocks users from accessing Internet and preventing any actions such as opening a new tab or minimizing web browser windows. Every time you use Internet, it redirects you to a malicious URL which pops up a big warning saying that you have done something illegal, such as downloading or distributing copyrighted material, viewing child pornography or distributing spam. Generally, it says “YOUR BROWSER HAS BEEN BLOCKED. ALL PC DATA WILL BE DETAINED AND CRIMINAL PROCEDURES WILL BE INITIATED AGAINST YOU IF THE FINE IS NOT PAID” and displays your IP address, location and computer operating system information. When message locks you out of your web browser, there is no hope to return your computer to its original working condition. It asks you to pay $500 bucks via Paypal in 48 hours if you want to unlock your web browser. This malware is very similar to dozens of other Ransomware such as RCMP Virus and PCeU Virus. It will not allow you to exit out the fake FBI page unless you pay the non-existent fine, so it makes thousands of computer users upset and frustrating.

Remove ICSPA Virus Scam From iPhone/iPad

Hi, I was recently trying to watch some movies. I accidentally pressed on a wrong link and then all of a sudden I was locked out and I received a long ICSPA pop-up message stating that I was viewing pornography or distributing illegal contents and I need to pay $500 dollars as a fine. It locked me out of Safari app so I cannot access Internet anymore. It also said that if I don’t pay after 48 hours, it will erase my Apple ID, photos and block my phone. It freaked me out! I don’t watch child porn! If I refused to pay, are they going to come to my house and charge me with something? I searched the web and many people had the same problem. They said it is a virus. So how do I get rid of it? And, the warning knew my IP address and location, why?

Is ICSPA Virus on My iPhone/iPad Real or Fake?

ICSPA Virus (also called International Cyber Security Protection Alliance Virus) is categorized a “malware” or “ransomware” designed by cyber criminals to affect Android users, Windows computer users and even iOS(iPhone, iPad & iPod) users. Apple devices are always said to be more secure than Android, and also as iPads and iPhones have gotten more sophisticated, most users have been pretty confident that Apple devices are virus free. But actually Apple devices can be infected by malicious viruses too. ICSPA Virus usually gets into the system by visiting compromised website, downloading free apps from third-parties, opening attachments from spam emails, or clicking unwanted pop-ups. Once it finds its way to access the iPhone or iPad, it utilizes JavaScript to hijack user’s internet browsers such as Safari and Chrome. Therefore, whenever you try to get online, ICSPA pop up will appear immediately blocking your Internet access. The pop up uses a threatening tone saying that you were being accused of activities against copyright laws, such as viewing or distributing pornography, spam distribution etc. and that it was running facial recognition and you have to pay a fine of $500 within the next 48 hours or it would lock down your entire Phone. It uses the same scare tactic like Royal Canadian Mounted Police virus, FBI virus (targets computer users mainly in the United States) and Cheshire United Kingdom Police Virus (United Kingdom) to trick innocent users and aim to steal as much money as possible.

I was browsing the Internet on my iPhone6 and out of no where Department of Justice virus came up in Safari saying I was accused of illegal internet browsing such as pornography, child pornography, women ejaculation and downloading pirated software such as music, videos, and programs. It asked for me to pay a $500 fine within 24 hours, with a paypal reloadable card that could be bought from any store, or else I would fall under criminal acts. Every time I tried to close the page, it would open again and again. That’s really frustrating. I have heard many people saying this DOJ pop-up is fake, but my question is what happen if I don’t remove it in 24 hours? Will it really block my iPhone and erase my Apple ID and photos etc.? Can it steal my personal information?

Actually this DOJ pop-up is a scam and it is as similar as FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) virus which mainly targets users from USA, and PCeU virus (as known as Paysafecard or Ukash virus) which focuses on users from European countries, especially UK. The virus is created by cyber hackers to scare innocent iPhone or iPad users and then block them out of their web browser (like Safari, Chrome or Firefox) and trick them into paying a non-existent $500. Most people may wonder how they got this fake DOJ pop up on the iPhone/iPad. Actually this virus can be installed silently when you visit infected website or click on malicious advertisements. Hi, I need help. My Safari was hijacked by this Crackle.com hijacker and it didn’t allow me to perform Internet searches normally as usual. It is a MacBook pro that I just bought weeks ago. What can I do? I cannot seem to use my MacBook properly. I really worried about my personal information being stolen by the browser hijacker. Why did my anti-virus program fail to get rid of the browser redirect? I was freaked out with random popups and browser redirection occurred when I searched the web on the affected Mac OS X. How to delete the browser hijacker? Any redirect removal help will be highly appreciated.

PC or MacBook Hijacked by Crackle.com – How to Remove?

Crackle.com is a browser hijacker that is distributed through the network. PC users and Mac users are likely to suffer from this browser hijacker when they gain access to hacked websites, fake attachments or other download sources online. Upon arrival, this redirect will add to your Safari, Chrome, Firefox and other web browsers. It attempts to take every possible chance to mess up your Windows computers or MacBook terribly. Besides, the browser infection can make as much affiliate and advertising commissions as possible by forcing computer/Mac users to land on pages that contain pop ups and advertisements. In the meantime, the redirect may trace your browser history to help cyber hackers violate your privacy on purpose. Every time you search for specified keywords or visit webs, news and videos, etc., you will be forcibly redirected you to this bogus Crackle.com site or other malicious websites, sponsored results, paid content and unwanted landing pages. Indeed, the browser hijacker has its own search engine which makes it an obstacle to use your favorite or default ones. Consequently, you should not ignore or leave this browser redirect in your Windows PC or MacBook any longer.

Search.oursafesearch.com Redirect Removal

I am having major computer problems since last night, after getting notified that I picked up a ‘Hijacker’ virus while just surfing the web. I know I didn’t download anything or open anything shady or suspicious, but my computer has slowed to a crawl ever since. Whenever I opened Internet Explorer, Search.oursafesearch.com popped up as my default homepage immediately (I used Yahoo before). I tried to change my browser settings but it didn’t seem to work. I ran a complete system scan with Norton, and it found nothing suspicious. How do I get rid of it manually?

Search.oursafesearch.com Description:

Search.oursafesearch.com is another fake website that masquerades as a useful search provider designed to trick innocent users. In fact, it is closely associated with browser and adware that can change your default search engine and start page to its own page and make some other modifications to take over your browser without your permission. Whilst browser hijackers are not as dangerous as many types of malware, they still have a negative effect on your computer’s functions. Once it finds its way to your system, it will alter your default homepage and search engine, then it displays tons of advertisements and sponsored links in your search results in order to redirect you all kinds of shady website. The hijacker also may collect search terms from your search queries which make your personal information unsafe. The threat can keep blocking your favorite website and then lead you to other pages you don’t want. It is used to boost advertising revenue and has no reasons to stay in your computer.
