My Google Chrome browser has been infected by My-online-search.com redirect virus, it replaces my homepage completely, each time when I run the Google Chrome browser, it will redirect me to this My-online-search.com website, I try to fix the problem by my own but can not make it. How can I get rid of the annoying browser hijack redirect virus from my browser? Will it infect my Internet Explorer as well? Can I use ignore the problem and use Firefox instead?

Search.yac.mx Redirect Removal

I was on this website researching for one of my assignments and something downloaded and installed itself onto my laptop. I open Google Chrome browser and the homepage is changed to Search.yac.mx now! I have tried everything that has been suggested on Google but nothing is working!!! I have tried uninstalling it from the control panel, it’s not listed. I have tried changing the homepage on chrome settings, managed to change it in writing but it hasn’t actually changed anything. RunDLL Error Message/Background Container.dll – How To Remove?

Every time I log onto Windows and after my desktop screen comes up, an error message comes up automatically on startup. This error message box is titled “RunDLL”  With the below message: There was a problem Starting. C:\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Conduit\BackgroundContainer\BackgroundContainer.dll. The specified module could not be found. That is really annoying and I cannot find a way to get rid of it. I have run a complete virus scan with McAfee that is on my computer, Malware bytes full scan, and Microsoft scan…..nothing was found. My computer is running Windows 7 and this issue occurred after I installed a toolbar, since then I kept being redirected to a bogus search. Is it a virus? How can I fix the RunDLL error? Any help will be appreciated.
