I received a notification today saying that AVG had detected Malsign Generic.1E9 on my computer. It popped up every 5 minutes so I ran a full scan but the virus didn’t seem to be removed. It keeps coming back again and again after I restarted the computer. Why AVG cannot delete the virus? Is there any other way I can remove the virus for good?
Malsign Generic.1E9 is defined as Potentially unwanted program or Trojan Horse designed to execute dangerous activities on your computer and even steal your information without your awareness.

Hey, there! Since I clicked on a pop-up by accident last week, my computer kept bringing me to a web site named Search.online-adnetwork.com. Each time I started the Internet, I may see lots of ads and pop-up showing up everywhere on my screen. It is so pesky. I can’t bear it any more. How can I get rid of this browser hijacker? I have an iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9.1) and use Safari as my browser. Earlier today when I clicked on a site, my Safari was locked up by “FBI Cyber Department” virus and now I have problem leaving the page and opening other websites. The pop up message took over my browser, accusing me of viewing prohibited pornographic content or crimes involving copyright laws and now it requested to pay $300 through Moneypak to “unlock” the Mac. It says I need to pay in 48 hours or I would be persecuted for violating some rights or whatever and charged as a criminal. Is it real? The message shows my IP address, my location and my username. It freaked me out! Can anyone tell me if this is just a hacker trying to get 300 bucks or if this is real? Has anyone had this happen before and how do I fix it on a Mac?

Today, when I was updating games on my Ipad 2, then just with a sudden, a pop-up came on my screen with its titled SOCA. I couldn’t browse the Internet any more after that. My Safari was blocked with a state that you broke the Law so you were demanded to pay 250$ fine so as to unblock your safari. I was so scared. I didn’t know what I should do. Then I paid the fine through U Ukash. Unfortunately, my Safari was not unblocked as it stated. It was just turned out to be a malicious ransomware virus. What should I do not? Earlier today I scanned with avg today and found a virus that could not be removed. The threat is called “Trojan horse Inject2.BRWI”. I don’t know how I got this infection and AVG could not remove it. AVG suggested me to upgrade to AVG Internet Security. Will that remove this Trojan horse? Is there any other way I can do on my own to get rid of the virus?

Hello, I use AVG Internet Security and I have problem in deleting a virus called JS/Adinject which pops up every 5 minutes. I tried to remove it but the virus reappeared every time I restarted the computer. I also ran Malwarebytes multiple times and other cleaners, but they didn’t detect any malicious files. I am not good at computers and don’t know what to do now. Any assistance would be appreciated! Thank you.

Hi there. I use AVG Internet Security program to protect my computer and it has been working good. But yesterday AVG started telling me that I have a virus called MalSign.Generic.6BB on my computer. I tried to remove it but it seems AVG can’t help at all. It tells me that the threat has been removed but after 30 minutes or so it keeps notifying me that the virus has been detected again and again. I’m frustrating now. Is there any other way to get rid of this virus without reinstalling Windows? I don’t want to lose any files. Thanks.

Yesterday Windows Defender started alerting me that my laptop is infected with the Trojan: Win32/Kovter.C!reg and it didn’t seem to remove it. Each time I choose to delete the virus, it keeps showing up again on the next scan. Is this Trojan Horse dangerous? Will it steal my bank information? I am so worried.
