Last week, I downloaded computer games from the internet to my brand new Sony laptop. After I installed the game, then started to play, thing went weird. While I was playing the game, I was warned by Norton that there is a virus called Trojan.Wipbot!gen3 in my computer. I was shocked. I knew that this stuff is a bad virus that can damage my system, so I uninstalled all the programs so as to save my computer. I had a Trojan:Win32/Varpes.J!plock virus on my laptop that I can’t seem to get rid of it. Windows Security Essentials reports it is in the file C:\Windows\system32\DNSAPI.dll but it ails at removing it and malwarebytes can’t find it. How can I get rid of it? Please help!!!

I use Firefox and somehow my homepage has been hijacked by Safesidesearch.com and the page is trying to lead me to some malicious pages with sponsored ads. That is really annoying. I have reset Firefox in safe mode and it still comes up. I just bought my laptop and the security software will not get it. Is there a reason I got this virus? Then I got lots of ads on my screen from a web named Searchincognito.com. It was so weird. I set my default homepage to be Google. But now my default homepage is changed to be Searchincognito.com. I got a message on my LG G3 phone earlier saying that my phone has been blocked for viewing child pornography contents and violating copyright and related right laws which I would never look up child porn or anything. It said since it is my first time I can get it off if I pay £100 in the next 48 hours through UKash and Paysafecard. It had all my Info like where I was located and everything. I downloaded a game from a certain website and since then my homepage has been changed to Search.otwexplain.com. Every time I try to get online, the page comes up automatically and it won’t let me change back to Google or use any other legitimate search providers. I tried to get rid of it but I can’t find it in Control Panel, neither in Firefox –> Add-ons –> Extensions or Plugins. I downloaded Malwarebytes and it detected a few PUPs, but after removal the page was still in Firefox. How to get rid of it completely?
