PUP.Optional.WebSearchInfo – How To Remove

A couple days ago, my Norton antivirus detected several viruses. PUP.Optional.WebSearchInfo was in the list. I quarantined all of them and restarted the infected computer after quarantine. But it seems to be still there in another scanning after restarted. This is annoying me because I am not sure what this virus is and how to get rid of it successfully.

Being detected by many popular antivirus programs recently, PUP.Optional.WebSearchInfo is known by many computer users who may accidentally bring in this nasty Trojan virus. This virus is casually installed by people who do not pay much attention with the installing process while the computer is installing some free software. This virus often attaches with popular media and updating version of popular software. If you choose quick install instead of custom setup, the software which packs Trojan virus will install the virus it have to your computer as well. If you are not sure about whether the installation package is safe or not, you need to be careful while installing. Malicious links or unknown files online are also dangerous as well. Whenever I surf the web on Firefox, I get redirected to http://ggk.findsection.net/sd/apps/fusionx/0.0.4.html?aff=1030-4000 which prompts me to upgrade my browser. However, I have already updated Firefox to the most recent updates a week ago. It is really annoying. How do I stop from receiving pop ups from Http://ggk.findsection.net asking me to add updates?
