Yesterday my security program scanned the system and detected a threat. It is called Krab Web. I keep getting a lot of pop-up ads when I start my computer, so I cannot go on my work as usual in the computer. I do not know how this advertising software gets into my compute. Anyway, is there a good way to get rid of Krab Web when the antivirus program is unable to remove it for some reasons?
Krab Web is a useless adware that will weaken the computer performance and help another malware to get into the computer. It can also be seen as a browser hijacker for it is able to take over the browser on the computer so as to show you many pop-up ads. I was on Facebook and suddenly this Pc-fix-quickk.com pop-up came up on my screen and asked me to download Java. I can close the window, but the second time when I opened my browser, the same pop-up appeared again. I also found my homepage has been changed to a spam search page that filled with various ads. This morning I accidentally clicked on a link, and then a program called Net Protector AntiVirus installed itself on my computer. That is the beginning of tragedy of my computer. Recently I found my computer was acting weird. It worked extremely slow and randomly played audio ads in the background.
