Although the page seems regular and looks like Google, it won’t offer the same service like other legitimate search engines do. It is a spam search designed to display sponsored links and advertise certain websites in order to drive more traffic. The hijacker can collect the terms of your search queries, record your browsing history and monitor your online activities without your knowledge. It keeps forcing users to visit irrelevant pages again and again and prevents them from going the web page they really want. It can slow down browser performance as well.
