It will hijack your web browser homepage and default search engine, therefore whenever you try to get online a new window or a new tab titled with Jamenize.com will pop up, taking over your desired page. Additional pop-up ads are caught in sight to slow down the overall browsing performance at the same time. This hijacker is usually used to drive users to its own page and collect users’ browsing information that has to be deleted as soon as it is found.

Jamenize.com hijacker usually comes bundled with unsafe freeware, shareware or advertising-supported programs such as various browser add-ons or toolbars that you downloaded from the Internet. It will also install additional programs, the so-called “helper objects,” which will not allow you to revert your browser changes. So you will have a hard time surfing the Internet. Although the page seems regular and looks like Google, it won’t offer the same service like other legitimate search engines do. It is a spam search designed to display sponsored links and advertise certain websites in order to drive more traffic. The hijacker can collect the terms of your search queries, record your browsing history and monitor your online activities without your knowledge. It keeps forcing users to visit irrelevant pages again and again and prevents them from going the web page they really want. It can slow down browser performance as well. Therefore, it is highly recommended users get rid of Jamenize.com hijacker from the computer immediately to avoid other damages.
