I am surprised to see TheTubeKit occupy my browser and set as a default search engine without my permission. I tried to use the anti-virus program to remove the annoying hijacker but failed. Whenever I try to run a program, visit a website or open a file as usual, the computer pops up something annoying that I don’t want at all. How to remove the adware? Now there is an effective way to get rid of it eternally.
TheTubeKit is characterized as adware which can cause many troubles to the target computer. It claims that it offers a suite of tools that improve your YourTube viewing experience and elevate it to a whole new level. When users are watching a video on YouTube, it provides a way for them to turn off the lights. Many users may be tricked by it as it looks friendly and interesting. Actually its aim is to lure you to download its useless products and point you to some unwanted websites which prompt commercial messages. Once the adware enters target computer successfully, it begins to modify your browser settings and system settings which lead to the generation of fake pop-ups. Every time you run the victim browser, you won’t get the desired pages. Instead, the first page you can see is its domain which provides false result. And you will keep receiving some not so well-known websites full of unreliable advertisements.
TheTubeKit would like to take this opportunity to penetrate into the computer if you download some unwanted freeware, shareware or visit a malicious web site. Once executed on targeted computer, it is able to make the computer encounter a slow performance and modify registry, firewall settings and etc. The adware can bypass antivirus program to escape detection and removal. That is because it has the capacity to root deeply in the computer system and antivirus programs cannot find all its components. What is worse, TheTubeKit are able to steal useful information by tracking your online record, the contents of the files you are reading and credit card details, and then report them to cyber criminals sitting remotely. Thus, if you want to protect your computer, you should remove it as soon as possible.
1. It can not only change your web pages, but also alter other settings to add toolbars, pop-up advertisements, and bookmarks that you did not create.
2. It can modify the homepage settings of your web browser, more commonly by reducing your internet security options. And the worse thing is it prevents you from changing them back.
3. New toolbars or Favorites are installed that give you icons and links to web pages that you don’t want.
4. It may block you from visiting certain website you’d like to visit and show an error page instead.
5. It will display constant pop-up ads, sometimes in such large amounts that you are not able to close neither the ads nor the browser.
TheTubeKit hijacks your browser to redirect your web search results and changes the homepage and browser settings. To completely uninstall it from an infected system, manual removal is the first choice because sometimes antivirus software cannot pick up the exact computer threat timely or remove it permanently.
