redirect- How To Remove

Why is my Firefox homepage being replaced by a site named ? Is it a legitimate search provider? How can I get my original homepage back? It is redirecting my webpage to its domain constantly and the same thing is happening to my Chrome with a different site. I don’t want to use this redirect but when I changed Firefox settings and re-open it, this site comes back! I would appreciate any help in stopping it because it makes me angry!

Details of redirect: redirect is a doubtful online search system website that may seem to be a genuine and trustworthy search provider because it owns the similar interface like Google, however, this is a spam search engine that displays advertisements more than trusted results. This website is closely related to browser hijackers and adware which can alter the search page of your browsers on Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome and then keep redirecting users to its own page. That is to say, if your browser has been hijacked by redirect, you will be forced to visit this bogus search page constantly.

Sometimes comes up automatically as a new tab as soon as you open your browser, or it could appear while you are watching a video or playing online games. Despite of its appearance, you need to understand is not a helpful and safe website. You cannot use its own search to be your default search engine because search results displayed and sponsored link provided may keep making you get diverted to others misleading and malicious websites that display annoying pop-up ads on the screen of the compromised PC. Additionally, this hijacker may install many unwanted browser add-ons on your web browser along with vicious toolbars without your permission. It is extremely annoying if redirect automatically loads each time you open your web browser. Though it won’t like a rogue program or ransomware to disable your programs or lock your computer, it still can be the potential threat to compromise your computer because it can add tracing cookies to your browser which help hackers to tracks user’s web browsing habits, record any addresses of visited sites and then send those collected data to a remote server. Dealing with issue like removing browser hijacker is not an easy way. If you cannot find a tool to remove it, manual way should be a wise choice.
