I accidentally got SystemBytes Win 7 2015 on my computer and cannot find a way to uninstall it. I knew this is a fake antivirus program because it won’t let me do anything on my computer. It won’t let me view websites on explorer or open any programs. All it did is to display lots of fake reports and push me to pay its full version. I tried to delete it from control panel but I didn’t see it there. I searched online using my phone and it said the virus has to be removed manually. But I cannot open Task manager at all. It says the file is infected. What should I do?

Hello, how are you? How does this Generic Suspicious attack my computer? My AVG informs me about this malicious virus but can’t deal with it. Why the virus is so stubborn? Hi there. I was looking to do a teaching tutorial and needed a desktop recording software so I downloaded CamStudio on my laptop yesterday. Then my trouble started. Instead of getting that, I got a bunch of horrible annoying stuff downloaded on my computer. I recently ran a Microsoft Security Essentials security scan and had the following item show up as a severe threat: Trojan:Win32/Powessere.A!reg. MSE would find it & remove it, only to keep re-appearing when I re-scanned, both in “quick scan” & “full scan”. This virus also prevented me from downloading ANYTHING (tried updating software, ie. Java, wouldn’t let me, tried to use AVG & wouldn’t let me download). What a nasty virus! How do I get rid of it completely without coming back?
