Remove Searchyu.com Hijacker

My internet browser (Google Chrome) was hijacked and my default homepage was changed to Searchyu.com suddenly. I also had a security alert warning balloon that popped up frequently and said you have a virus, and then it gave a “Fix” option. I didn’t click on it because I assumed it could download something harmful to my system. I tried to change my browser settings and removed all the suspicious extensions, but the homepage didn’t change back to Google anymore. I tried to run Norton scan and it didn’t detect any bad things. I’ve seen a few guides on the Internet to solve this hijacking issue, but all of them didn’t work. I tried to do a system restore but for some reasons, my computer said I have no restore points so I can’t just roll back everything, unfortunately. I would really appreciate it if anyone can tell me how to get rid of Searchyu.com completely. Thanks in advance.
