Canon Announces New EOS Cameras and Lenses
On February 8, Canon introduced the EOS R8 and R50 cameras and the RF24-50mm F4.5-6.3 IS STM and RF-S55-210mm F5-7.1 IS STM lenses. The EOS R8 is an all-round full-frame camera with a 24.2 megapixel full-frame sensor and DIGIC X image processor that can shoot up to 30 frames per second in a RAW burst and automatically recognize people, animals, race cars, airplanes, etc. The EOS R8 can shoot movies at 6K oversampling to 4K 60 fps and at 1080p resolution at frame rates up to 180 fps. The EOS R50 is a lightweight APS-C format camera with 24.2 million effective pixels and the same DIGIC X image processor. It features A+ mode optimization, automatic filter recommendation, automatic subject recognition, and up to 4K 30 fps shooting.

Li Auto launches L7 five-seat SUV
On February 8, Li Auto launched its five-seat extended-range SUV L7 through an online launch event. L7 comes in Air, Pro and Max configurations, with 5.3 seconds of 100 km acceleration, 620 Nm of peak torque and a combined CLTC range of 1,315 km. The L7 Air is equipped with CDC continuously variable damping dampers, the L7 Pro and Max are equipped with the Magic Carpet air suspension, and the L7 Max has full AD Max assisted driving capability. Minisforum Launches NUCG5 Mini PC
On February 8, Minisforum brand launched the new NUCG5 mini PC, which is powered by Intel Core i5-1240P processor, integrated Iris Xe core graphics, 28W TDP, two built-in DDR4 memory slots (up to 64GB DDR4-3200), M.2 slot with PCIe 3.0 NVMe SSD support, and M.2 2230 slot with WiFi and Bluetooth module. The M.2 2230 slot also allows for the installation of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules. The ports include two HDMI 2.0, two Thunderbolt 4, three USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A, one USB 2.0, a 2.5 Gbps network port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The 512GB SSD model will cost $629 and begin shipping in March.
