Hello. This is Jim martin. Please help me get rid of this International Cyber Criminal Police Organization pop-up warning. I don’t know what the hell is going on here but whatever. Now my Samsung tablet has been blocked by the International Cyber Criminal Police Organization for safety reason. It said I violated a bunch of laws and I am supposed to pay $250 to unblock my tablet. Otherwise, the police will come to arrest me and throw me into jail for years. I just don’t understand. How could receive such a warning while I haven’t done anything illegally? I swear that I haven’t done anything that it mentioned. Back then, I was chatting with a girl from date1.com who contacted me from Nigera. She sent me a link to watch her photos, so I clicked on it. Immediately, this warning popped up and took over my tablet. It won’t allow me use my tablet. I don’t how to get rid of it. Any assistance will be appreciated.
The International Cyber Criminal Police Organization pop-up warning is identified as a scam virus which belongs to the Urausy virus family. The cyber criminals write and spread this nasty program throughout the world. Not only in the USA, but also in the UK, Ireland, Australia, Canada, India and the rest of the world, this virus infection is very common. This virus is complicated and powerful enough to infect various Android devices, such as Samsung, HTC, LG, Lenovo, Asus and Huawei phone/tablet. Once the virus sneaks into your device, it locks your screen and displays a bogus message. It pretends to be the International Cyber Criminal Police Organization saying that your device has been involved in storing and distributing pornography, violating copyright etc. To unblock your device, $250 is demanded. Otherwise, you have to spend 5-11 years in jail. You may ask, “What do I do when receiving the International Cyber Criminal Police Organization pop-up warning?” Do not be scared by this fake police warning. You are fine with the police. The message you got is a virus program which is trying to scam you. It has nothing to do with the police or law. You can ignore its demand for fine. Then, figure out a way to remove this virus completely.

Every time you start your device, the International Cyber Criminal Police Organization pop-up can take over your device and doesn’t allow you access the home screen. Sometimes, you even can’t turn off your device after you see the police note. You only can restart it. In other case, this virus only blocks your Internet. You can use other apps normally. However, the virus appears and hijacks your browser when you open the Internet app. Only the fake warning is available. You only can do payment on it. It may threat you that the police will come to your house. You will be taken to the court and your friends will be interrogated. In the end, you are supposed to spend many years in jail. Do not trust it. All those things are fake. The owner of this message is the hackers instead of the police. There is no need to pay the fine. You only need to remove the virus completely.
Most of the viruses are delivered via apps installed on your device. They just hide in the third party apps package and wait for you to download. Those apps are usually from unsafe website which is one of the famous ways to spread viruses. Hence, the best way to avoid it is to be very careful which apps you install. Never install software outside of the Google Play app store, and by default your phone- or tablet settings will be configured to prevent this. Also, viruses can be bundled with attachment in spam email. In the spam, cyber criminals are often now cleverly disguised as invoices or even as deliveries scheduled to arrive at a home address. It asks you to click on it to check the detail. Once you click on a link or opens a document with invoice details, the virus gets the opportunity to invade your device.Additionally, viruses can comes via Facebook. Hackers always spread videos that fail to play. At that moment, a message may pop up telling that you need to upgrade your video player. If you click on the link, malicious software can be downloaded immediately. As we all know, Facebook is very popular. Cyber criminals just follow the trend to gain illegal money by creating scams and malicious programs specifically targeting social networks.
Step 1: Please try to put the infected android phone into Safe Mode at first to unlock the screen temporarily from the powerful scam virus
(1). For various android phones: hold down the power button to bring out the menu with Power Off and Reboot option—-hold down the Power Off option (If nothing happens, please tap and hold the Reboot option instead)—-click OK on the pop-up box asking if you want to access safe mode
(2). For Samsung Galaxy S4 and Samsung Galaxy S5: power off the device—-turn on and tab the soft-touch Menu button repeatedly
(3). For Samsung Galaxy S3 and other phones with similar customized android system: power off the device—-turn on and hold down the Volume Down button (try Volume Up or Volume Down and Volume Up together if Volume Down does not work) when the brand logo shows up
You will see “Safe mode” at the lower left corner of the screen if you access safe mode successfully

Step 3: Reboot the device to get out of safe mode
There is no doubt that the International Cyber Criminal Police Organization pop-up warning is a nasty scam. It makes up too many things related to the police authority. Unfortunately, many mobile users have been scammed by this case. They paid the so-called fine to avoid “trouble”. However, their devices still are blocked. The virus just keeps accusing you of law violation. Hence, do not pay money to the criminals in vain. The criminals will not take the virus away though you did as they demanded. In this situation, you must calm down. You need to know that the police will not punish a criminal and collect fine by showing a pop-up warning. They probably will break in your house directly. Do not worry about the police, fine or jail thing. Just take care of your device by removing the International Cyber Criminal Police Organization pop-up warning out of your device. As the virus is complicated, we suggest you locate and remove the suspicious programs manually to make sure that the virus will not come back again.
