I have this horrible United States Cyber Security virus on my Samsung android phone. I was watching a funny video which is shared by my friend on facebook. Then, an ad popped up saying that I could watch free thrill movie by clicking the given link. So I clicked on it. It happened to be bad in the middle of the movie. My phone screen went black and this thing about the United States Cyber Security showed up. It said I violated laws. And my phone will be locked forever if I don’t pay $100 ransom. It had my friends’ names and numbers. My friends will be interrogated for my crime. Is it real? I have to admit that I downloaded and watched porn from the Internet that day. Is watching porn a crime? Should I pay the ransom? Any suggestion? Please answer me soon. I only have 10 hours left to pay.
United States Cyber Security virus is identified as a piece of ransomware which is trying to swindle mobile device users out of money. It has the same character with FBI virus, AFP virus, cyber crime virus, ICSPA virus, NSA virus, CSIS virus, Homeland Security virus, pceu virus and other similar ones that try to scam people with the names of authority departments. It is capable of attacking various brands of phones and tablets, such as Samsung, HTC, LG, Motorola, ZTC, Huawei and other devices with Android system. Hence, you should ignore this fake warning and figure out a way to remove the virus completely.
United States Cyber Security virus is well-designed by the cyber criminals. It disguises itself as other regular program. When you watch video from unknown websites, an ad may pop up telling you that you need to update your media player. At the same time, a link is provided to download new version of media player. We do not advise you follow its guide. In fact, the provided link will lead you to a malicious website but not an official website of the player. If you click on the link to update your media player, you are downloading a virus. You should ignore message about software update from unknown websites. Besides, virus can hide inside regular software that has been corrupted. It can be installed along with the corrupted software. Therefore, download software from its official website next time to keep your device away from virus.
As we all know, United States Cyber Security virus is pretty aggressive and stubborn. After your device is infected, it will lock the whole screen and does not allow you access anything on it. It displays a bogus notification from United States Cyber Security saying that your device is blocked for being involved in violating Copyright and Related Rights Law and spreading illegal content. To get your device back and avoid the two to eight years in jail, you are required to pay ransom. It can take a picture of your contacts and display it to scare you by saying your friends will be interrogated. In other case, this virus only blocks your Internet browser, such Internet App, Goggle Chrome, etc. You can use other Apps on your device as usual. However, it hijacks your browser. When you open the browser App, it redirects you to the fake United States Cyber Security warning page and asks you to pay fine via Moneypak. The places like WalMart, CVS, Walgreens, Kmart and other similar retailers where you can purchase Moneypak will be given. This message will not go away no matter how many times you quit your browser and turn off your device. It is very harmful if it stays on your device for a long time as we do not know what this virus will do to damage your device. Get rid of it as early as possible.

Step 1: Please try to put the infected android phone into Safe Mode at first to unlock the screen temporarily from United States Cyber Security scam virus
(1). For various android phones: hold down the power button to bring out the menu with Power Off and Reboot option—-hold down the Power Off option (If nothing happens, please tap and hold the Reboot option instead)—-click OK on the pop-up box asking if you want to access safe mode
(2). For Samsung Galaxy S4 and Samsung Galaxy S5: power off the device—-turn on and tab the soft-touch Menu button repeatedly
(3). For Samsung Galaxy S3 and other phones with similar customized android system: power off the device—-turn on and hold down the Volume Down button (try Volume Up or Volume Down and Volume Up together if Volume Down does not work) when the brand logo shows up
You will see “Safe mode” at the lower left corner of the screen if you access safe mode successfully
Step 2: Search and remove suspicious files which are related to the virus
Step 3: Reboot the device to get out of safe mode
All in all, this United States Cyber Security virus is very tricky and nasty. You never should trust it. Do not ever try to send money to the criminals to unlock your device. Or you are supporting the criminals. They will keep scamming people after receiving your money. You ought to know that you did not violate any law. The police will not come to arrest you. A victim told us that her phone was infected the virus three days ago. She was so scared and left the phone alone. It turns out that the virus is still there when she turns it on today. We have to tell you that it is a bad idea to leave alone the virus. More malware may be installed to access your sensitive information like credit card detail.
