Hi I was watching a TV show online last night and all of a sudden I start getting pop ups for Antivirus Security Pro virus alert, which is a fake antivirus protector. It won’t allow me to open anything, so i cannot open my internet browser to download a real antivirus to remove these viruses. When i have Antivirus Security Pro that’s messing me up, and I really want to remove it. I installed Pinger on my Ipod, and people left me voice mails that my email told me I could access on my computer. I just tried to play one there today, and after that is when all of this trouble happened. How do I remove fake Antivirus Security Pro?
Antivirus Security Pro is categorized as a fake antivirus program that infiltrates to computers with the help of Trojan viruses and starts itself immediately on system start up. It aims to attack computer system running with Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8. Though it seems to be a trusty and reliable program, it has neither the ability to detect nor remove threats and should be ignored immediately. The virus is good at using false scan results and fake security warnings/notifications to convince you that your PC is seriously infected with malware. Then it attempts to convince target PC users to purchase the so-called Antivirus Security Pro full version to remove imaginary malware infections and repair other security issues. Do not be fooled by such tricks because this software is just a bogus anti-virus program designed to swindle PC users out of their money.
Now rogue programs have been spreading through the Internet world-wide. It is important to understand that malware like Antivirus Security Pro cannot help to protect your computer. As similar as Attentive Antivirus virus, it can infect the computer through untrusted websites, spam emails and corrupt application. Once a user accepts this rogue software and allows it to enter the system it will cause all types of havoc in your system. Every time when system boots up, a bogus scan will be forced to run automatically which will report about the critical level of your PC security. However, everything the scan shows is fabricated to the fullest and the scan results are always the same. It says your computer is highly infected and several viruses are found, to remove all of the threats, you have to purchase the “licensed” version which will “remove” supposed infections first. Once the payment is made, the user will get a firsthand experience of how this software does not do anything to get rid of the threats.
Antivirus Security Pro scam is only capable to generate fabricated alerts and will never fix any security issue for you. When it is installed on your PC, it uses fake alerts to block your access to any programs. Thus, you are not allowed to launch any programs or go to Internet once the computer is infected. In addition, the virus will deliberately cause performance problems on the infected computer such as browser redirects and frequent application crashes. To sum up, users are required to uninstall Antivirus Security Pro Virus as soon as it is detected.
Many users are going to see this pop-up screen and become scared and immediately pay for the “upgrade” version because they do not want their PCs to be infected with any potential risks. The Antivirus Security Pro virus does a great job at tricking users into thinking that it is a legit program with a deceitful appearance and the warning messages do a great job at forcing them into paying for this upgrade version that doesn’t even exist. This rogue software is literally stealing millions of dollars from unsuspecting computer users around the world. And after they pay, they go on about their life and never think about it again, convinced that the computer security is updated. After the install, the virus will then send out random messages in an attempt to prompt the victims into paying.
As a matter of fact, all of the warning messages are parts of this rogue which do not truly represent the actual status of the PCs but are false statements designed together with this malware. They are displayed constantly on compromised PCs to interrupt users from running the machines properly. When it is first installed, this fake virus will begin to change some of the important system settings, such as disabling the Windows task manager and registry editor, and also blocking some programs from opening. If the targeted computer has any virus or spyware security programs installed, the rogue program will block them from turning on sometimes putting the machine into further risks. When you are attempting to run something on the computer that has been blocked by this fake Antivirus Security Pro, this following alert can be displayed:
“Antivirus Security Pro Firewall Alert
Antivirus Security Pro has blocked a program from accessing the internet
Internet Explorer is infected with Trojan-BNK.Win32.Keylogger.gen
