Trojan.Sirefef.FU is a risky Trojan that will spread through known software and security vulnerabilities. It targets every computer users that range from individual, educational institutions, up to known organizations. Once installed, it will drop harmful files and make several changes on computer settings without your permission.
This trojan can add additional computer malware programs such as sirefef.gf onto your computer and then damage your computer further. It disguises itself deep in the system background and antivirus protection always can’t pick it up. This nasty virus can insert its harmful codes into main Windows applications, record your keyboard key strokes and mouse activity, surreptitiously recording users names or passwords. It compromises your privacy and security. Moreover, this kind of threat will open a doorway on infected computer to allow remote attacker to gain full access. It takes up high resources and strikingly slows down your computer speed. Hence, the virus should be removed as soon as possible.
1. Reboot your computer to safe mode with networking. As your computer restarts but before Windows launches, tap “F8” key constantly.
2. Show hidden files and folders.
Open Folder Options by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, and then clicking Folder Options.
Click the View tab.
Under Advanced settings, click Show hidden files and folders, uncheck Hide protected operating system files (Recommended) and then click OK.
3. Open Registry entries. Find out the malicious files and entries and then delete all.

a. Press the “Start” button and then choose the option “Run”. In the “Open” field, type “regedit” and click the “OK” button.
