Remove Searches.omiga-plus.com Browser Hijacker

Over the past couple of days my internet browsing has been interrupted quite frequently by numerous types of pop up ads and I found that my homepage has been changed to Searches.omiga-plus.com. It annoyed me a lot so I ran security checks on my computer to check for viruses, but nothing was found. I checked my pop up settings and everything is set to be blocked, yet I still see all of these annoying ads. I’m so frustrated now. I have installed Avast, so why this could be happening?? I searched on the Internet and it said this website was linked to browser hijacker. How do I get rid of it completely?

Searches.omiga-plus.com Description:

Searches.omiga-plus.com is a deceitful website associated with annoying browser hijacker, adware or potentially unwanted program (also called PUP). At first glance, it seems like a normal search engine that provides online search for its visitors, but in reality this is a spam search that can provide you nothing reliable but various pop-up ads or misleading information. Once launched, it takes over the your web browsers including Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Safari. Technically speaking, browser hijacker is not a computer virus and this website is not a harmful thing, however if you set this page as your default homepage, it is likely to make your PC more vulnerable for further attacks because a hijacker could invade your privacy by monitoring the websites you visit, collecting data about your browsing habits and then customizing the adverts that you see to reflect recent searches, websites visited and products or services looked at. To sum up, this omiga plus search can display endless ads and sponsored links for its users and interrupt your online activities so there is no reason for you to let it stay on your machine.
